Nothing that comes your way in life is too much for you, but sometimes we go through challenges, and we just feel like it’s engulfing us. Bear in mind that God won’t have allowed it, if you couldn’t handle it. It means you’ve got the answer to that problem, but the moment you begin to complain and worry, you are magnifying the problem and that eludes the solution from you. Understand that, no person or thing can keep you from your destiny the only thing that has the ability is your mind!! You can’t afford to have a victim mentality! You’ve got to have the, I am armed to handle this mentality!
Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Now this was Paul’s actual declaration, “I am ready for anything, I am equal to anything through Him who infuses strength in me” He was saying the enemy could hit him with their best, but nothing could stop him! That’s a victor’s attitude!!
In seemingly difficult times, you’ve got to talk to yourself, because if you don’t, your thoughts would talk to you! And trust me, it won’t be words of encouragement to get you back on your feet, it’d be words that’d push you deeper into grieve.
Matthew 5:45, …..it rains on the just and on the unjust. It means just because you are a child of God doesn’t mean you may not be faced with challenges. Remember the 3 brothers; Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in Daniel 3?
Good news, if you don’t whine about your situation and have faith, those challenges would become bread for you!
“24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”
This is a parable from Jesus, did you notice they both faced the same storm, but one still stood after the storm. It means what would keep you standing after the storm won’t be dependent on the magnitude of the storm but your mentality which is built from constant study of the word. In doing so you are building yourself on the rock, and you’d be sure to stand at the end of any challenge, and you will not only come out of it, but you’d come out increased and stronger.
The most powerful force in the universe, you already carry on your insides as a child of God, what ever the situation is, it’s no match to you!!
From Isaiah 27:5, take hold of His strength….. when you do this through your confessions, you aren’t only being positive, you are taking hold of strength. But each time you talk defeat; energy leaves, creativity goes out the door!! Don’t let those things or anything overwhelm you.
Remember, God has not promised anything He hasn’t already fulfilled, He is the beginning and the end, it means what ever the situation may be right now, He’s aware, it’s not a surprise to Him and He’s saying, that situation didn’t come to break you, it came to promote you. A set back is simply a set up to elevate you! You have all it takes to pull through!
1 John 4:4, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
If you stay calm, and stay in faith, all things would surely work out in your favour! So no matter what you face, quit telling yourself it’s too much, your attitude should be I CAN HANDLE IT!! Because you can!
Have a great day 🙂
